Entertainment Dresser

Like most of my pieces, I found this dresser/ entertainment center on marketplace. I knew it wasn't solid wood, and that it needed some repairs, one of the corners was completely busted and the mdf was coming apart.

Once I got it home, it got a good cleaning with my favorite cherry blossom cleaner and rinsed with plain water. Obviously, I did not over-saturate due to the exposed MDF as I didn't want to promote swelling. After everything was dry the repairs began!

It took a few rounds of reinforcement to ensure it would be a lasting piece in someone's home. It took me more time to reinforce the corner than it took to decide what color I was going to use.

I knew I wanted to go with a two-toned look similar to the Ball man Comings set I previously refinished for myself. So I custom-mixed a gorgeous blue I've decided to name into the storm. It's a dark and moody blue with the best hint of charcoal coming through. For the base color I went with cozy white by Sherwin Williams. Nice gray undertones that just warm up any space.

I finished the inside of the cubby to match the drawers for a seamless continuation.

This Entertainment Dresser would be perfect in any bedroom, living room or even dining room as a buffet table!
